Mount Saint Charles Academy has twice been nationally recognized as an exemplary school by the United States Department of Education in 1993 and 2000. As such, we join a small number of select private and public high schools from across the nation to be honored more than once.

We know what we are about; we are about excellence. We are nevertheless grateful that, through the extensive process of application, initial review, site visitation, and final review, our excellence has been recognized and validated nationally. Administration, faculty, staff, students, parents, board members, alumni, and friends know that Mount is special.

We also accept this recognition as a challenge; to build on this well deserved reputation for the future. Each year brings new students needs and the necessity of new responses. Mount, in preserving its tradition of excellence, strengthening its resolve to face the challenges of tomorrow.
