Development

The Development Program at Mount Saint Charles Academy is Mount’s way of preparing for, and looking toward the future. Sometimes called the Office of Institutional Advancement, the Development Office takes an integrated approach to raising funds, which consists of personally reaching out to the School Board, Faculty, Parents, Alumni, corporations and foundations. Our goal is to provide the funds necessary to give Mount students the excellence in educational facilities, programs and Christian formation for which Mount has always been known.

What is the Annual Fund?

Traditionally, an Annual Fund implies dollars raised for a school’s operational expenses. In Mount's case, fiscal soundness allows us to use Annual Fund dollars toward whatever long-range project is the current focus, usually bricks and mortar.

What is the Capital Campaign?

A Capital Campaign is a targeted concrete project to enhance the physical plant and better serve the students at the Academy. Mount is presently in the midst of a $1.3 million campaign to raise funds to renovate the east wing of the building and construct a new five-lab/classroom Science Center, upgrading science classrooms last renovated in the 70’s..

  • Update and improve Science Program

and the sharing of instructional methods among Science Teachers.

    to materials and equipment

Students are expected to begin using the new facility in the fall of 2003.
