Administrators view their leadership of Mount as an act of service. The charism of the Brothers sets the tone for an education that focuses on whole person formation, traditional values, high expectations, and self-discipline. Central administration includes the President, Principal, two Assistant Principals and Director of Guidance. Administrative Contact
Governance The Academy has a two-tiered system of Governance. The Order of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart of New England, Inc. is the legal owner of the Academy. The members of the Provincial Council of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart are the Board of Trustees of the Academy. The School Board advises the Board of Trustees to implement and contribute to the Trustees' operation of a not-for-profit school for the academic and Christian education of youth. The School Board approves the annual budget and is responsible for the property and the finances of the Academy as well as decisions having financial implications. It is committed to assisting the administration in formulating policy consistent with the educational framework of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart and within the guidelines of the State of Rhode Island. In addition to formulating policy, the Board is charged with supporting the chief school administrators in carrying out their administrative functions. Board of Trustees Members
School Board Members All members of the Board volunteer their time and effort and serve without financial remuneration. They are appointed by the Board of Trustees.
