Mission Statement

Founded by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in 1924, Mount Saint Charles Academy continues a tradition of educational excellence and holistic formation within a caring and supportive faith community.

We accept the mission, central to this tradition, to form the whole person: spirit, soul, heart, mind and body.

We foster a compassionate environment, founded on a belief in a loving God, where all are valued, respected and called to grow. Essential to this ministry is the development of a faith community comprising students, parents, teachers and staff who strive to live the Gospel values.

We challenge our students through a rigorous academic program and through religious and co-curricular experiences to become people of faith who use their talents and intellects to serve others.

We seek to empower them to become responsible, creative, respectful and just members of society who, in turn, have a positive influence on their world.
